Ok, Did y'all miss me? Naaah... I don't think so...

I've been soooo busy that I did not have time to blog; can you imaging that???

Well, I'll elaborate:
Now that her scraproom is done (I still have to post those pictures), she came up with a new project:

(just kidding) But the garden needed an EXTREME MAKEOVER... So guess who had to do all the work??? well, a large portion anyway like demolition of the terrace which was on the verge of disintegration... Yeah right... BUBBAH!

The work will be done after the weekend, so I'll be sharing with y'all on Monday!

Further... Like I told y'all Michael (son #1) joined the peanuts of Pioniers Hoofddorp... And SHE volunteered me to coach the "mini"-peanuts (you know all the lil' brothers and sisters of the peanuts wanna trow balls aswell...)... Well, the number of peanuts exceeds 20, so there is going to be a second team... and guess who is going to coach them??? BUBBAH!

Guess who got volunteered to coach the mini-peanuts since I got a different team???

BTW: Have a nice weekend!

It's a dirty job... And guess who has to do it...

When she is a "housewife" people tend to look at you like you have some nasty decease... "Ain't she got a job?", "You must make a nice buck each month...", "oh, that's nice. Then the kids have someone to come home to"... But we all know what mess it would be if everyone was working, nobody to tend to the dishes or the laundry, the kids would be calling the TV mum or dad and worst: TV DINNERS!!! (I wonder who would be putting them into the microwave).

So yes I might be bitching about my wife a lot, but it ain't all bad...
Well, it would be bad, if she was only a housewife with a hobby and a business.
But no... She is a working mum with a hobby and a business... So that makes it worse!!!

How comes I still love her then???

BTW: Have a nice weekend...

Let's Trade!!!

For all of you who are married, were married, wish you were married, or wish you weren't married, this is something to smile about the next time you open a bottle of wine:

I was driving home from one of my business trips when I saw an elderly man walking on the side of the road. As the trip was a long and quiet one, I stopped the car and asked the man if he would like a ride. With a silent nod of thanks, the man got into the car.
Resuming the journey, I tried in vain to make a bit of small talk with the man. The old man just sat silently, looking intently at everything he saw, studying every little detail, until he noticed a brown bag on the seat next to me.
"What's in the bag?" asked the old man. I looked down at the brown bag and said, "It's a bottle of wine. I got it for my scrapbooking wife."
The man was silent for another moment or two.
Then speaking with the quiet wisdom of an elder, he said

"Good trade."

Creative? Who? Me?

As always on Mothersday the boyz created something at school to give & I bought them a very tacky cuckoo clock (for her scraproom). And eventhough she isn't my mother I still bought her a DVD... We looked like the 3 Wise that came from the East bearing gifts!!!

I found the shirt below too late (this year), but it might be a good suggestion for next year!!!

As for the creative part: I'm able to draw a puppet for the kids, but creative... Creative minded, okay, but for the rest...

You Are 88% Creative

You are an incredibly creative person. For you, there are no bounds or limits to your creativity.
Your next creation could be something very great... Or at least very cool!

Women are from Venus, Men are down to Earth!

How come that men and women have different views on subjects?

When women think of alcohol they immediately link that to all the things they can do to their scrapbook layouts...

And this also explains why women (with their own scraproom) keep the doors closed...

Men just think of alcohol as a remedy (to all the misery this hobby of their wives has caused)...
